I recently discovered a new exciting endeavor from the team at Chronicle Project called Deidox. Deidox are true stories of how everyday people are being used by God in the world today. The vision behind Deidox “is to not only challenge and inspire people with the stories told, but to also highlight and support organizations that are demonstrating God’s love on a daily basis.”

Currently available are two films about Lindsy and Robert. These two films dive you right in the middle of their lives where you first hand see how they are impacting the lives of the people and the community around them. The quality of the production and process that Dave and Brent (the team behind of Deidox) take to tell each story is top notch.

They have made these films available in various formats and at various prices. They even offer a “pay what you want” for a low-res version. Also, a dollar of each sale goes back to the ministry that the film is about.

These films can be used in various settings; either a large group or small group setting. The films also give you a great opportunity to springboard into sharing your own personal story.

Below is the trailer for the film “Lindsay”. To find out more about Deidox and to download the films visit their website at http://www.deidox.com

Scott Rigsby is the first double-amputee to complete the Hawaiian Ironman triathlon in Kona, Hawaii last October, 2007. Scott’s amazing story of faith, perseverance, and triumph will inspire church audiences across the world. Filmed by Grovefilms.com, the media ministry of The Grove Center for the Arts & Media based in San Clemente, California, Unthinkable will challenge Christians to do the unthinkable for God. This six minute short film can be seen and is available for digital download at www.grovefilms.com. Grovfilms also offers 5 other inspirational clips by Scott on these themes: depression, walking with God, forgiveness, and steps to doing the unthinkable.

Not only will Christians be inspired by Scott’s story, churches can participate in the six-week small group bible study called The Unthinkable Experience. The Unthinkable Experience is a perfect outreach opportunity for churches to challenge their members to “Do the Unthinkable.” The Unthinkable Experience comes complete with a color, coiled bound study guide, small group leaders instruction, a bulletin insert and bulletin announcement for churches to explain the Unthinkable campaign. Participants will spend six weeks studying the life of the Apostle Paul as they pray for God to show them how to do the unthinkable in their lives, families, communities and world.

To interview Scott Rigsby and to find out more about The Unthinkable Experience, please contact Joey O’Connor at The Grove Center for the Arts & Media. 949-584-8868

2. Sunday’s Comin’- The story of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion is one of betrayal, brutality, despair, and pain. Yet we know even before His death that redemption was promised to be coming soon. We know that the story does not end at the cross. We know what many did not realize – that Sunday’s comin’.

3. Are You Amazed- It is clear from the gospels that wherever Jesus went, the people were amazed. Whether rich or poor, young or old, for Him or against Him, they were all amazed. Music by Phillips, Craig & Dean. Footage from the movie “Jesus of Nazareth”.

4. Our Hero Lives- Abraham Lincoln, Ghandi, and Martin Luther King, Jr. were all extraordinary heroes who changed the world, but our Savior is the Hero of Heroes who saved the world. This inspirational video is the perfect high-energy service-starter for an Easter celebration. (Search for “Our Hero Lives” once you are on the website)
