Highway Video- 50% Off and Free Download

As many Christian leaders have discovered, a little film goes a long way. Ministry videos – typically only 2 to 4 minutes in length – have proven to be powerful tools for introducing and reinforcing key sermon points and for establishing appropriate tones for various worship experiences.

Highway Video has been making top-quality ministry videos since the mid-90s. With a commitment to sound theology, cultural relevance, and inspired artistry, Highway’s huge catalog includes sermon illustrations, worship backdrops, stock film footage, and Flash animations.

The NEW Grove Films

grovefilms.gifGrove Films is a new church and ministry video download website. Their goal is to equip the church and transform the world through visual media. Grove Films was developed by a team of people behind The Grove Center for the Arts & Media. The Grove Center is a national network of artists in the Church.

Currently there are only a handful of filmmakers that have their films online, but this will continue to grow. I am very impressed with the design of their website and how easy they have made it to find films. You are able to see all the films on one page from each filmmaker when you click on the filmmaker’s name. They have sections that feature sponsored films, as well as new up and coming filmmakers. One feature that is missing is the ability to comment on a particular film. One unique aspect about Grove Films is that 10% of the sales goes to artistic grants.

If you are an up and coming filmmaker or a seasoned video producer I would encourage you to check out putting your content on their website. If you are a church or ministry looking for another source for videos you might want to consider what they have to offer.
